Local Authors & The Library

CollectionsLocal authors

The library curates a circulating collection of works by authors residing in the CRRL service area and adjacent counties. Library visitors will find works by local authors through the library catalog and on occasional READ LOCAL displays at all branches.

Authors, if you would like us to consider adding your work, just leave a donated copy at the Research desk at any branch with this form attached. Print out the form (PDF) to accompany your book.

Please understand that we are unable to return copies not selected.

We know you would like to make the public aware of your work. If you would like to be considered for an informal Local Author @ the Library book signing and book sale at a table in a library lobby, contact Eric Anderson at eric.anderson@crrl.org or 540-785-9267, or complete this interest form online. Lobby visits scheduled at least 2 months in advance may be promoted on our online listings of branch events. Those scheduled at least 4 months in advance may also be promoted in our quarterly @ Your Library magazine.
