This fall promises to be a busy one at Central Rappahannock Regional Library, with over 150 events, classes, and workshops offered for the young, the old, and the in-between. Let’s take a look at three of those events, chosen because they are happening soon, may be a bit unexpected as a library offering, or are inspiring opportunities.
One of our favorite authors is coming back to the Central Rappahannock Regional Library, and we’re doing our joyous happy dance! Susanna Kearsley, New York Times and USA Today best-selling author and friend of the library, will join us for a wine and cheese reception on Thursday, April 9, as part of her national tour. Susanna is a lively, warm, and engaging speaker, who generously shares stories about her writing and her research—which takes her travelling to exotic locales.
It was a dark and rainy night . . . but that didn’t stop fans from coming out in droves to hear Maggie Stiefvater at the Salem Church Library, this past Monday! Books clutched in hands, hoping for an autograph, teens and adults alike were eager to hear this famous local author speak about reading, writing, and authorship.
